TUCSON, Arizona — Human remains discovered in a desert area west of Tucson have drawn fresh attention amid the ongoing investigation into the disappearance of Nancy Guthrie, but authorities say there is currently no indication that the discovery is connected to her case.
The Pima County Sheriff’s Department announced Monday that deputies responded to reports of human remains near West Ajo Way and South La Cholla Boulevard. Investigators said the remains appeared to have been at the location for an extended period.
